* 22 Feb 1978 - set included the as yet unreleased I Wonder Why
* May 1978 - SWW were due to play Birmingham Odeon once on 07 May, but due to unprecedented demand and a quick sell out, they were booked for 08 May too.
* 24 Jun 1978 - Showaddywaddy recorded an episode of Seaside Special at Torre Abbey Meadows in Torquay. The show was broadcast on 08 Jul.
* Jul 1978 - the promo video for A Little Bit Of Soap was filmed at the Golden Garter, and it would seem this was filmed on one of the band's dates at the venue between 3rd and 6th July.
* 19 Dec 1978 - the last gig of the year in the band’s home town, and the night they found out the album “Greatest Hits 1976-1978” had got to no.1 in the album charts, knocking the Grease Soundtrack off the top spot. Malcolm was on stage with his arm in a sling, no doubt following another riding accident. A great gig and a big party afterwards - one of the greatest nights in the band’s history.
