* Buttercup Jelly featured Dave Bartram on vocals and guitar. The band were signed up to Phase Five Agency of Leicester. Dave Bartram played hist first gig with the band on 10 Dec 1968, and the band lasted until 24 Aug 1969.
* Amarmus - by 12 Nov 1969, a new band formed under the name Amarmus, featuring Dave Bartam and the same members listed above.
* 13 Jun 1970 - Founding member of Amarmus John Suthertington left the band around this date - there is one further Amarmus gig listed on 19th June.
* 07 Aug 1970 - gig advertised as "the new Buttercup Jelly". Presumably the gig listed before this on 1st August was also under the Buttercup Jelly name. Not known whether Dave Bartam was still in the band at this time.
* 31 Oct 1970 - Buttercup Jelly advertised at two different venues on the same night. Perhaps the Cambridge gig was a different band with the same name.
* 17 Jul 1971 - this is the last gig found under the name Buttercup Jelly, suggesting the band broke up not long after this.
* 08 Nov 1971 - Stallion were a short-lived band featuring Dave Bartram. The band played on the same bill as Choise at some point. Dave was invited to join Choise when Choise vocalist Don Collins decided to leave.
05 Apr 1972 - this gig is listed after Dave joined Choise (19 Feb 1972). Dave may or may not have played this gig with Stallion. There are no further Stallion gigs found in the archives after this date.
