As well as the music, people remember Showaddywaddy because of their image and dance routines through their numerous appearances on television.
Television presenters joked about their bright suits - David 'Kid' Jensen said about the band whilst presenting Top Of The Pops, "One thing about Showaddywaddy is that they always give your colour television a bit of an exercise!" And another described them as "An explosion in a paint factory".
The band also made videos to promote some singles, and these were used on occasions when the band were unavailable to appear on shows personally. These were commercially released on video in 1987. The promos were: "Blue Moon" "Pretty Little Angel Eyes" "A Little Bit Of Soap" "A Night At Daddy Gee's" "Doo Wah Diddy" "Sweet Little Rock 'n' Roller" "Always & Ever" "Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Hearts?" "Multiplication" "Remember Then".
Promo films were also made for "You Got What It Takes" and "I Wonder Why", but for some reason these did not find their way onto the video.
There is now plenty of Showaddywaddy footage on YouTube. The 'Copy Owned' column is for my own cataloguing.
