Dave Bartram's "Lost & Found" - Released 09/2011

Lost And Found collects all of the long-lost solo tracks from Showaddywaddy's lead singer / songwriter Dave Bartram, recorded between 1982 and 1985 at the legendary Utopia Studios in London with studio owner Phil Wainman, featuring the cream of UK session musicians from the era (Billy Bremner, Alan Murphy, Tony Beard, Danny Schogger) alongside stars in their own right such as Nick Heyward, Sam Brown and John Baxter (Re-Flex). The songs cover genres including 80s synth-pop, Jim Steinman-influenced ballads, 50s rock & roll and the perfect pop of 1983 single Black Ice. Including a 16 page booklet illustrated with memorabilia from Utopia Records, an intro from Dave himself and detailed sleeve notes from Showaddywaddy archivist Steve Thorpe who compiled the album from Dave's personal tapes. It's not often that an artist as well-known as Dave gets to release such a wealth of undiscovered material, in this case 30 years later than planned!
Lost and Found is available on CD from Amazon, and also available to download via the iTunes store and the Amazon MP3 Store.
