Showaddywaddy’s eponymous debut album featured 9 original compositions and 3 covers.

There were two singles on the album, namely Hey Rock And Roll’ and ‘Rock ’n’ Roll Lady’, which were released in April and August 1974 respectively.

Also featured was ‘Bony Moronie’, which the band played on their second ever TV appearance (New Faces) in December 1973; Johnny Remember Me’ which featured in the band’s live set for many years well into the 1980s and again in the mid-‘90s, and The Party’, which the band played in the 1974 film ‘Three For All’.

‘Johnny Remember Me’ was introduced back into the band’s live set during 2013.

The cover shown on the left is the Japanese version, basally the same as the UK release, but featuring a separate obi-strip and different catalogue number.
