Notes:

* July 2021 - after a long break due to the pandemic, Showaddywaddy finally did thier first gig of 2021 on 10th July, with the new line up of Romeo Challenger, Andy Pelos, Rob Hewins, Dave Graham, Tom Bull, and Chris Savage. The same line-up did a small mid-lockdown gig in September 2020, but this latest gig sees the band back on the road at last
* 21 Aug 2021 - band due to blay at Monaco Ballroom, Hindley, Wigan, but it was cancelled on the back of the Covid impact
* 27 Aug 2021 - band were due to play at the Civic Theatre, Oswaldtwistle, but the gig was cancelled.
* 28 Aug 2021 - Tom Bull was unable to play this gig due to illness, Justin Myers filled in at short notice!

16 Sep 2021 - Chris Savage's departure from the band was announced today. Chris played keyboards with the band having being added to the line-up during 2020. Chris played 10 gigs in his time with the band, his last being at Great Yarmouth on Tues 14th Sept.
17 Sep 2021 - Guitarist Danny Willson returned to the line up tonight for the gig for the first time since 2009! Danny's return is not permanent, but he will do the occasional gig going forward.
24-26 Sep 2021 - the band were due to play in Scotland over this weekend (Kilmarnock 24/09, Keith 25/09, and Perth 26/09) but these were postponed due to Covid-related illness in the band. Keith and Perth have since been rearranged.
03 Oct 2021 - this gig again featured Danny Willson, this time in place of Rob Hewins who was unable to play. Also featuring was guitarist Adam Ellis.
26 Nov 2021 - Rob Hewins' last gig with Showaddywaddy. (Rob first played with the band for a one-off gig in August 2011, and joined up permanently by January 2012)
27 Nov 2021 - Danny Willson's last gig with Showaddywaddy following his temporary return helping the band out for a few weeks. It was great to see Danny back on stage with Showaddywaddy albeit temporarily, after having originally played with the band between 1995 and 2009.
03 Dec 2021 - Billy Shannon's and Sam Holland's debut gig!

Announcment 1st December 2021: Following an extraordinarily difficult, seemingly endless period for the music industry, plagued by theatre/venue closures by dint of Government restrictions and financially crippling lockdowns, it is with some regret that due to various factors we have felt the necessity to make wholesale changes to the band personnel. As the saying goes ‘in every negative there is always a positive,’ and following a widespread search extending to well in excess of twelve months, we are finally proud to welcome two multi-talented musicians into the fold, whose high levels of musicianship and youthfulness will, in moving forward, only serve to add to the band’s versatility as we edge towards a busy schedule ahead of the band’s landmark 50th anniversary in 2023, which seems destined to be a monumental and thrilling year-long celebration. At this enormously exciting time I hope you will all join me in extending the warmest of welcomes to both Billy and Sam ahead of their debut performances this coming weekend, and have no doubts you will all be impressed".
